it would probably make sense for me to interpret each call for testing
as an implicit request to generate a new build.  i will do one now, so
a fresh LKB (binary and source) should be available for download soon.

ann and francis, it might streamline things if you asked for a build
before each call for testing.  or, maybe we should assume that testers 
have the ability to run from sourcs (including direct CVS access)?
