[developers] ECL compilation

Greetings,

Using --enable-boehm=system breaks compilation, so this seems to be a 
conflict between the versions of gc distributedwith ECL and different 
linux distros, or a problem with how the headers are called. Did Bernd 
file a bug report on this?
