i just created a new build, now including the fixes in the preprocessor
code that are required to compile it into PET.  for now, this build can
be obtained by using the `--test' option to the `install' script.

i also checked in a minor change in the SPPP code, fixing chart lay-out
of tokens for some corner cases.

ben, could you please add a binary for Windoze to the build directory.
