i probably fails to /generate/, or?  at present, LUI cannot be used to
display generator charts.  these are not linearized, hence there is no
straightforward mapping into the table-like format LUI uses (where the
dominance links are not rendered explicitly, unlike in the CLIM chart
viewer).  we were aware of this asymmetry when desining the LUI chart,
but thought the more compact display approach (for parser charts) was
worth it.
