[developers] Generation timing in [incr tsdb()]

Dear Stephan, dear all, 

can anyone tell me, when exactly tsdb++ starts measuring processing
times? The most critical point ois, whther MRS pre-generation fixup
rules will be timed as part of overall generation or not. In the latter
case, I would need to set up an additional experiment to quantify the
overhead incurred by my pre-generation transfer rules.
