[developers] Recording phenomenon text spans in [incr tsdb()]

Hi all,

I'm developing a linguistic phenomenon corpus which will be based on an
existing DELPH-IN treebanks. [incr tsdb()] already supports phenomenon
annotations through the phenomenon and item-phenomenon relations, but we
would like to also record the span of the input text deemed to be pertinent
to each phenomenon attestation and this doesn't seemed to be supported
currently. I'm wondering if there would be a sensible field in
item-phenomenon I can re-purpose for this, or if there might be another way
of going about doing this?
