[developers] n best in [incr_tsdb()] query language?

Hi all,

When using the [incr_tsdb()] query language to issue a command such as this:

$tsdb -home profile-path -query 'select derivation where readings > 0'

...is there a way to limit the results to only the n best for each item? My
understanding is that result-id field can ordinarily be used for this,
however I'm using thinned profiles, meaning that the value of the field no
longer corresponds to it's relative ranking in the set of trees.
