the tty version of the LKB should work with pretty much any ANSI Common
Lisp (including CMUCL and CLISP, even though they both are not strictly
ANSI-compliant, i believe). i will be happy to help debug your problem
and suggest to take the discussion from `lkb-list' to `lkb-bugs'. you
or i can post a summary, once we know what is causing your problem ...

to get me started, could you please send `lkb-bugs' as much in detail
on (i) the environment you are using (e.g. OS and CLISP versions) and
(ii) a log of all Lisp messages you get, including the specific error
you indicate, as you can?

                                            thanks in advance - oe
