on a 32-bit machine running Ubuntu 8.04.2, the Thai displays OK,
except id doesn't compose (like Stephan's screenshot). The Korean
doesn't display, just red boxes.
The machine that did work for Korean was 8.10 32 bit. I will try some
other combinations.
