I guess you are using ecl-0.9i. This version made an (as far as I can
see) undocumented change to the public interface by removing these
functions. You should use ecl-0.9h instead.
Of course, this error should also be anticipated by configure. I'm doing
this in the input-chart-rules branch of pet, but I haven't merged this
into the main branch yet.
