G'day,
using flop (0.99.7) on a recent kernel (2.6.10: Ubuntu 5.04), I get
mysterious errors at the end of the (rather long) compile:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
flop japanese
reading `Version.lsp'...
converting `japanese.tdl' (Jacy (2005-04-17)) into `japanese.grm' ...
[snip]
finished parsing - 0 syntax errors, 250867 lines in 2.43 s
processing type constraints (100521 types):
- expanding templates: 0 template instantiations
- type hierarchy (leaf types [99993], bitcodes, glbs [199], recomputing)
- building dag representation
- computing appropriateness
- applying appropriateness constraints for types
- delta expansion for types
`complex_aux' incompatible with parent constraints (`aux_minus_or_complex')
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
`complex_aux' is, in fact, compatible with `aux_minus_or_complex'.
The same binary for flop with the same grammar works fine on a
different machine. Stephan says he is seeing something similar with
the flop from his branch.
Does anyone else have this problem? More urgently, does anyone have a
better solution than sticking to a 2.4 kernel?
