[developers] PET output of MRS in XML and derivations?

hi ann,

for all i remember, PET has no MRS/XML output mode yet. i was going to
add to the PET -- MRS integration this week anyway (enabling the use of
my new, yet to be documented VPM machinery), so i could try adding that
output option too. as for derivations, setting verbosity to more than
2 or thereabout would likely result in the information you want printed
on stdout, among other things :-). personally, i would recommend using
PET as an [incr tsdb()] client, in which case you could do all sorts of
post-processing as part of the [incr tsdb()] *tsdb-result-hook*. look
at result-hook() (in `$DELPHINHOME/lkb/src/tsdb/lisp/process.lisp') for
inspiration on what kind of input to expect. in a nutshell, rebuilding
the derivation and outputting the information that is wanted should be
not too hard at that point ...

                                                         cheers  -  oe

nb: i expect re-building the PET MRS library against the latest sources
should fail right now; that is what i am planning to work on this week.
