[developers] Lisp Licensing for Logon

Greetings,

I have recently come to the realization that I will probably need a license
for Allegro Common Lisp
if working on Logon is going to be a large part of my PhD research. Could
the members of this list
give me an idea of the kind of license (commercial vs academic) and deal
that institutions are
currently receiving?
