[developers] broken LKB checked in to CVS

Hi all,

We apparently have a broken LKB in CVS ... i.e., one that fails with the 
malloc error.

but apparently Ben didn't add this patch to CVS.  He noted other errors but 
there seems to be no response to this message.   What's the current status?  
My inclination would be to comment out the patch loading for now.
