I continue to use the 'public' branch of PET for development, testing,
and treebanking of the ERG.  So I am very much interested in helping to
track down and correct these warnings that Richard and CJ report.  One
difficulty is that I have not been using the SMAF input format in
testing before a release.  I'll sort out with CJ and Richard how to
invoke SMAF for a sample input so I can at least do the basic testing
for future ERG releases.
