this sort of thing was tried a bit in the 1980s for natural language interface 
systems.  I'd recommend looking at `Lexical acquisition in the Core language 
Engine' by David Carter (1989) and working going from there (i.e. look at the 
papers it refers to, especially the one about TEAM, and see if there's later 
work which refers to it)
