i just checked in the (relatively trivial) changes to the LKB code and
PET, to treat `:<' as a syntactic variant of `:='. a new `test' build
for Linux (x86, 32- and 64-bit) is now available on the LinGO site.
for users of the LOGON tree, part of these changes have been in effect
there since early december already. i am merging code changes between
the two universes today, and will post an announcement to the `logon'
email list in a short while.
all best - oe
