[developers] Apostrophe in lexical entries

Hi,

We've noticed that the LKB is splitting words on ' in
Matrix-derived grammars, even though ' is not included
in the definition of *punctuation-characters*.  I know
that the ERG has lexical entries like "don't", but I don't
see any relevant mention of ' in the configuration files.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
