thanks, francis,

i think i should mention stand-alone use of PET (or ACE) alongside
a pointer to the Heart of Gold.  but i want to keep our suggestions
for first-time users sweet and simple.  stand-alone PET would need
a separate installation of TnT and editing the ERG settings file, so
ranks not quite at the same level of simplicity as the procedure i
recommend within the full LOGON environment.
