i actually doubt this message is problematic.

the skull-and-crossbones cursor should be turned on during each
garbage collection, and should be turned off again afterwards.  could
you find (probably in ‘/tmp/’) the file ‘.podium.debug.$USER’ and
email it to me?

also, once you have hit the problem, please try pressing escape in the
[incr tsdb()] podium.  that should reset the cursor and interaction
state to normal, if possible.
