[matrix] testing

hi emily,

if all goes well, i have created a new mailing list

  matrix at delph-in.net

and you should have received a subscription confirmation (containing a
password, which is for your subscription as a member).  i also made you
the list administrator, with initial password `maintain'.  you should
be able to find this list at

  http://lists.delph-in.net/

and go in through the administrative interface.  i think i have set all
the right defaults, so all we would have to do is subscribe more people
from the current Linguist list, maybe change that list to only have one
member, viz. `matrix at delph-in.net', and send an announcement of the new
hosting scheme.  however, i think i would like to wait at least a few
more days, until DELPH-IN has stabilized more (i.e. i can apply some of
the pending updates) ...
