I just tried to build pet-0.99-12 on Ubuntu. I see the following error when
I try to run configure:
$ ./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... mawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
lkb: unknown Linux architecture (check `uname -m'); exit.
On my Ubuntu install, both 'uname -i' and 'uname -m' return 'i686'. It
seems like this should be recognized by the switch statement in line 1849 of
the configure script.
